What is TFC?
In the summer of 1999, a few young Christian professionals in business and the corporate world came together to hold a campmeeting for teenagers. They saw a need in the time, that the teenagers in their locality needed mentoring. A shooting had just happened in a university between cult groups in which students died. One of the organizers imagined what would have been the trajectory of their lives if they had been mentored by adults. This led to plan of having a camp with teenagers for a couple of days,mentoring them and exposing them to God’s word and presence. This was the birth of Teena For Christ camp popularly known as T.F.C.
The only solution to the crisis amongst the teenagers was a life transformed by the power of the Gospel brought through Christ Jesus.
This organizers believed that sharing their experiences in life when they were teenagers and also how they have live a life for Christ would help shape these teens into the life God has planned for them.
What started with few young professionals and about 75 teenagers in 1999, became an event that was most looked forward to by teenagers. The number of teenagers attending this camp grew to almost a 1000 teenagers at one time. From 1999 with just about three years without hosting it, the camp has held for twenty times in 23 years.
Just think of all the lives of young folks , with whole lot of them who have become adults with children, scattered all over the world. Indeed T.F.C has changed and helped to shape lives. The testimonies abound.
The camp started fully sponsored only with a token to pay for registration. Teenagers for the number of days in the camp were accommodated , fed and transported to the venue all for free.
Despite the challenges through the years, the vision of T.F.C still lives changing and shaping the lives of generations.
Teens 4 Christ 2023
This Year’s TFCamp is tagged Flight. As a church family God gave us a word at the beginning of this Year Througj our Senior pastor , Rev. Omar Pela. That’s it’s a year of Higher Dimensions. And we believe strongly going into higher dimensions requires taking flight into all God has purposed for these teens.
We know that if there’s anything that drives teenagers is their passion and strength. With that in mind God has purposed that that strength and passion is to be used for his desires and plan for their lives. If these teenagers tap into this there’s no limit to that which they would do for God.
This is what we hope to accomplish in this camp. There are places to go and things to do.
That’s why it’s a FLIGHT for us.
Who can Attend TFC 2023
If you are a teen you don’t want to miss this camp for anything. A parent or an adult who has a teen in their care, this would be the best thing this august you would be doing for them.
Registration fee is a token of N5,000, this barely covers the cost the camp for each Teen but we have sponsors who are joining us to cover the remaining cost for the camp.

Creative Camp Studio & theDeeepEnd present to you CampFire Vol 1: Blooming Flowers on July 29th starting at 7:00 PM! We will have beats showcased by theDeeepEnd, Katie.Blvd, Cheech LaCosa, DJ Fredo, and Señor Bennett, with live performances from theDeeepEnd & Aarik Duncan around the campfire, so be prepared for good vibes! After the performances, we will have a special DJ set by One Speaker Radio to bring the kickback vibe that Creative Camp Studio is known for. Also Rinconcito Latino Food Truck will be in attendance so bring your wallets.

Join Our Team of Counsellors
Since the first edition of TFC it has always had the model of where adults and even younger adults mentor Teenagers during the course of the camp. We have typically called these group of people counselors but ideally they are mentors.It’s one of the major aspects of TFC camp as this gives us the one sure way of mentoring the teenagers during the camp and afterwards.
We expect and also look out for counselors who are believers, members of our local assembly and are also people who desire to mentor teenagers as their lives are the true of example of who a believer is. It’s also an opportunity for them to share their experiences as teenagers to those they would mentor.
There would be trainings before the camp to educate counselors on the expectations and what mentoring teenagers during and the camp would entail.

TFC FAQ
Teenagers between the ages of 13 to 19.
In Lagos Nigeria, the venue would be communicated only to the parents/guardians.
It’s four (4) days , Sunday to Wednesday. 27th August to 30th August 2023.
Yes they would be.
Teenagers are not allowed to bring provisions to the camp as they would be well-fed.
